Systems Administration Manager (Morristown, NJ)

The primary objective is to maintain the continuous operation of the accounting system, and to support continuous improvements in automation and innovation. The successful candidate will be accountable for providing high quality technical support and for recommending solutions to accounting system issues, and business system support/best practices.

Scope of Accounting System Support functions includes recording revenue daily, processing timesheets export/importing (includes notification of timesheet error corrections) daily, processing electronic vendor files (Purchase Cards, T-Mobile, ATT, ARC, Verizon, ZBT’s, UPS, FCR replenishments), and processing weekly bank file submission.


Provide day-to-day support and be the expert for Deltek Costpoint in regards to all ERP Modules.

Systems covered:

1.     Costpoint and related subledgers

2.     Time Expense Self Service (TESS)

3.     DOCS4Deltek (VPConnect/IAConnect)

4.     FCR sub-ledger

5.     Costpoint Allocations

6.     TM1 interface with Costpoint

Coordinate with Programming Team for problem resolution in customizing, programming, testing, validating in the test environment, and ensuring the technician specification meets the functional specification before approaching local users for approval and final validation, and then arrange transport to live system, and subsequent training. Keep documentation updated for most recent revision.

Participate in weekly meetings to foster on-going dialogue, discuss and resolve issues and set priorities with accounting departments.


This position requires the skills associated with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with 5+ years minimum experience in a business systems environment. Must have working knowledge of operating systems, i.e., Costpoint and interface program products. The incumbent must have an understanding of basic business concepts.

The incumbent deals with most levels of personnel and must have strong both written and oral communication skills. Person must possess strong interpersonal skills and have multitasking abilities. This position does require some travel in the USA and Europe, and the incumbent must be able to work independently.
