Graphic Designer (Morristown, NJ)

The Louis Berger Group (Berger) a top 10 ENR firm seeks a Graphic Designer for its Morristown, NJ office. Berger is an engineering consulting firm specializing in program management, infrastructure engineering and planning, facilities planning and design, and environmental services. Berger employs over 4,300 people in over 90 offices in the U.S. and abroad.

Graphic Designer

You will be working as part of a 12-person Business Development Production team in support with a dynamic group of engineers, planners, architects, and scientists. You will aid in report and proposal production and public outreach and marketing efforts.

The position includes:

·  Supporting in the production of winning proposals, SOQs, and presentations;

·  Working with scientists, engineers, and planners to communicate visually;

·  Developing proposal and deliverable graphics ranging from document covers to organizational charts/flow charts to maps;

·  Developing informative brochures, web sites, and displays for planning projects; and

·  Supporting marketing director in executing marketing initiatives. Successful candidates will possess:

·  Aptitude in typography and informational design;

·  A shrewd attention to detail;

·  Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite 2 or Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat); and

·  Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Successful candidates should possess:

·  Willingness and ability to manage the simultaneous requests of senior management, project managers, and marketing staff;

·  Ability to work as part of a team;

·  Ability to work productively under the pressure of tight deadlines and to work overtime as needed.

·  BFA/BA in graphic design, studio art, or related discipline preferred but not required

The position allows for and requires a flexible schedule and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the federal marketplace.
