Louis Berger has an exciting opening for an Scheduler to join its Project Management / Construction Management team at its Washington, DC office. The Scheduler will be a vital contributor to the team and will have the opportunity to support key Construction Management Technical Support projects through the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for development of baseline construction schedules and tracking actual work progress for projects in planning, design, acquisition, and construction phases. They provide expertise in the areas of project controls, scheduling, earned value management, and construction activity tracking. Work assignments include reviewing project schedules and making recommendations for corrections and adjustments as required, coordinating the contractor schedule with all other government contractors and suppliers, reviewing contractor payment requests, providing preliminary schedules for source selection and contract durations during acquisition phase, and providing scheduling support services during the strategic planning, mission analysis and project development phase. Current software in use is Primavera P6. Maintain government schedule for each awarded project that is verified by weekly site walks and is accurate within 72 hours. Produce an auditable work-in-place report from P6 to document the work that is accepted for each invoice. Experience with work breakdown structure.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 5 years dedicated construction scheduling or combined estimating/project management experience and Oracle P6 Certification
- BS degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
