Job Description

Louis Berger’s Emergency Management and IH Services Department has an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Management Procurement Specialist. This position will be working remotely or at a field office. This position will be responsible for supporting the emergency management team with procurement and logistic responsibilities. Duties will include:

  • Assist in the planning of the organization of the Logistics Team
  • Coordinating and processing task order requests for resources and supporting current service and support capabilities
  • Maintaining resource tracking sheets
  • Supporting Louis Berger Project Managers to ensure that projects meet current procurement requirements
  • Assist with the review of vendor invoices
  • Documentation management of orders and reports

Required Experience

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of project related work
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to supported offices
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Beneficial Skills/Experience:

  • FEMA ICS and NIMS certification
  • Corporate Procurement Experience
